Can You Get a Refund on Telegram Stars? (Short Answer: No)
Stars purchases are final. Telegram's Terms of Service explicitly state that bought Stars cannot be refunded, returned, or converted back to money. But there's one exception — and knowing it can save you money.

If you paid Stars to a bot or mini-app and didn't receive what you paid for (failed delivery, broken product), the bot developer can issue a refund. Steps:
- Send /paysupport to the bot that charged you
- If no response, go to Settings → Your Stars → find the transaction → Report
- Telegram may intervene if the developer is unresponsive
Why This Matters
Stars are a spending currency, not a savings account. If you want flexibility to get your money back, buy TON instead and trade on marketplaces like mrkt — TON can always be converted back to fiat.
